Shakepay is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to protect its infrastructure, products, customer data, and AI platform. The role combines hands-on security engineering across applications, products, infrastructure, enterprise systems, and observability with AI-assisted automation, threat modeling, incident response, compliance support, and engineering mentorship. Candidates need at least five years of security, software, or related technical experience, strong security-domain skills, cloud experience, and hands-on incident-response and on-call experience. The position is remote-friendly across Canada, with optional Montreal and Toronto office access, and offers a base salary of CAD 170,000 to 230,000 plus stock options and benefits.
