Xero is hiring a Senior Engineer for its Cloud Platform Access team to design and operate identity and access controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure. The role focuses on secure-by-default access, workload identity federation, self-service improvements, Terraform modules, policy frameworks, automation, and technical leadership. It is based in Auckland or Wellington with a hybrid model and requires public-cloud security experience, Terraform and automation expertise, software engineering fundamentals, and the ability to mentor engineers.
