PagerDuty is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to join its Cloud Security team and build, operate, and harden security-focused AWS and Kubernetes platforms at scale. The role owns container security, workload identity, PKI, encryption, IAM guardrails, detection strategy, threat hunting, incident response, and AI-assisted security automation, while partnering with engineering, AppSec, and GRC teams. It requires 5+ years of security engineering experience, strong software engineering and infrastructure-as-code skills, and a hybrid work arrangement requiring two days per week from the Atlanta office. The base salary is 150,000–251,900 USD, with possible bonus, commission, equity, and benefits.
