Description
LinkedIn is hiring a senior Detection Engineer to design, build, and operate high-signal detections across endpoint, identity, cloud, and SaaS environments. The role focuses on detections-as-code, telemetry modeling, threat hunting, incident-response automation, threat-intelligence integration, and telemetry quality. It is a hands-on engineering position with technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration, available remotely anywhere in the United States or hybrid in LinkedIn’s Mountain View office. The role requires a relevant degree or practical experience, at least three years of security or detection-engineering experience, and experience with SIEM/XDR/EDR, cloud telemetry, programming, detections-as-code, and attacker TTPs. Compensation is $129,000 to $212,000, with possible bonus, stock, benefits, and other incentive compensation.
