Description
GitLab is hiring a Senior Security Engineer for its Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) to lead high-severity security incidents and investigations across cloud environments. The role covers the APAC incident window, participates in a rotating on-call schedule, and involves incident triage, containment, eradication, recovery, root-cause analysis, executive communications, detection and response engineering, automation, threat intelligence, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should have strong DFIR and cloud incident-response experience, familiarity with SIEM, EDR, detection engineering, AWS and GCP, threat intelligence, and automation, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
