Description
Elsevier is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of cloud-native security platforms and services. The role owns Terraform and Infrastructure as Code standards, CI/CD practices, security tooling, incident troubleshooting, resilience planning, and secure-by-design architecture, while mentoring engineers and partnering with Incident Response, Threat Engineering, and GRC. Candidates need significant security engineering experience, AWS or OCI/Aliyun architecture expertise, Terraform and GitHub Actions proficiency, broad security-tool experience, Python and Kubernetes/EKS development skills, and experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and Agile or DevOps practices.
