Microsoft is hiring a Senior Security IP Design Engineer for its Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering organization. The role owns end-to-end development of security intellectual property, from architecture and microarchitecture through silicon validation, and includes RTL design, PPA optimization, hardware security integration, design signoff, debugging, and mentoring. Candidates need a relevant doctorate with at least one year of technical engineering experience, or a master's degree with at least four years, or a bachelor's degree with at least five years, or equivalent experience. The role requires Microsoft Cloud background screening and eligibility to access export-controlled information, and offers a typical U.S. base pay range of USD 119,800 to USD 234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
