Description

Risk Ledger is hiring a Senior SecOps Engineer to support the Director of Information Security and build, mature, and evolve security operations and engineering capabilities. The role focuses on cloud security across AWS and GCP, detection and incident response, vulnerability management, security telemetry, automation, secure-by-design practices, AI security governance, and technical leadership. Candidates need at least five years of relevant experience, strong cloud and security operations expertise, and scripting or software engineering skills. The position offers a hybrid working policy, private healthcare, pension, equity, and a base salary of £90,000–£100,000 GBP.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, or Incident Response
Hands-on experience securing AWS and/or GCP environments
Experience with security monitoring, SIEM, EDR, detection engineering, alert triage, and incident response
Experience building or improving operational security capabilities
Experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, MDM, and cloud security platforms
Experience automating security processes with scripting or software engineering skills
Experience with vulnerability management and security telemetry
Understanding of modern AI tooling, AI security risks, and governance
Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing security architecture for cloud-native platforms
