LTS is hiring a Senior Security RMF Engineer for a remote U.S. cybersecurity transformation surge team supporting the VA.gov Platform. The role bridges VA security and RMF requirements with engineering teams, assessing compliance with the 18 Critical Controls, performing security reviews and risk assessments, supporting ATO and cATO readiness, translating control deficiencies into technical remediation, maintaining authorization artifacts, and automating evidence collection. Candidates need an associate’s degree plus four years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree plus two years, or five years of relevant Cyber Security Engineer experience, along with strong RMF, NIST 800-53, ATO, cloud, CI/CD, and security remediation experience. The salary range is $110,000–$125,000 USD.
