Apple is hiring a senior software supply-chain security engineer to own the architecture and automation of software inventory, vulnerability intelligence, and dependency risk across Apple's services. The role involves modeling and correlating software composition and vulnerability data, setting engineering quality standards, making architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers. It requires extensive security software engineering experience, deep Go and Java proficiency, SBOM and vulnerability-data expertise, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure experience, and familiarity with AI-generated dependencies and emerging supply-chain risks.
