Description
VIATEQ is hiring a remote Senior Server/Cloud Engineer to support a federal civilian customer in Washington, DC. The role involves designing, deploying, and administering enterprise Windows Server and Linux infrastructure; leading migrations of on-premises workloads to AWS GovCloud; managing VMware virtualization; building infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management solutions; supporting identity and access management; participating in disaster recovery and security hardening; and providing Tier 3 escalation and on-call support. The position requires at least eight years of server or cloud engineering experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Compensation is $145,000–$165,000, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
