Microsoft is hiring a Senior Silicon Engineer - ASIC verification for its Data Processing Unit team. The role validates complex silicon across SOC, subsystem, and IP levels using UVM/C test benches, develops verification environments, runs simulations, applies random-stimulus and coverage-based techniques, and performs pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation. The position requires a relevant doctorate with at least one year of technical engineering experience, or a master's degree with at least four years, or a bachelor's degree with at least five years, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include RTL verification, Ethernet and networking knowledge, complex SoC verification, and Verilog and System Verilog expertise. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800 to USD 234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
