Description
Apex is hiring a Simulation Engineer to develop and operate closed-loop spacecraft test platforms, including six degrees of freedom, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop systems. The role owns simulation platform design and deployment, develops scheduling, data routing, diagnostics, configuration, and Monte Carlo capabilities, integrates emulators and hardware/software interfaces, executes and analyzes test procedures, automates workflows, and contributes to the technical architecture. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least eight years of closed-loop simulation experience, proficiency in C/C++, Rust, and Python, Linux experience, and familiarity with software development practices, physics-based simulation, virtual sensors and actuators, and data analysis.
