Description
The Media Platforms SRE engineer will design, build, and operate highly available and efficient services that ingest, transform, and manage media content for Apple services such as the App Store, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+, and Apple TV+. The role involves public-facing web and API services, media-processing pipelines, internal tools, machine learning models, bare-metal infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes microservices, observability, and automation. Candidates need a BS or MS in computer science or an equivalent field, 6+ years of experience with a BS or 4+ years with an MS, at least 6 years in reliability, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused work, advanced programming experience, deep systems and infrastructure knowledge, and strong troubleshooting skills.
