Description
Black Semiconductor is hiring a Senior SoC Architect to lead the architecture of its Electronics-Photonics IC (EPIC) SoC from initial concept through production. The role owns the digital subsystem, high-speed I/O, SerDes, and protocol logic for UCIe, PCIe, and Ethernet; translates marketing requirements into a complete product requirement document; integrates analog, photonic, packaging, memory, and other subsystem architectures; and drives full-chip performance, power, and area trade-offs. The position requires 7–10 years of SoC or product architecture experience, deep high-speed I/O expertise, cross-domain integration skills, and experience with third-party IP and architecture tooling.
