Description

Qualcomm is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to validate and test IoT camera systems on SoC-based Embedded Linux platforms. The role covers test planning, system validation, automation, customer issue reproduction, root-cause analysis, and quality reporting. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, at least two years of software applications engineering or software development experience, programming and debugging experience, and familiarity with Linux, camera systems, and multimedia applications. The work location is HNCHU.B.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of experience in software testing, system validation, or quality assurance.
At least 2 years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development, or related work experience.
At least 1 year of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
At least 1 year of academic or work experience with debugging techniques.
Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in software testing, system validation, or quality assurance.
Familiarity with IoT, IP, or Edge AI camera validation processes.
Experience with SDK validation, system validation, or Customer Acceptance Testing.
Experience developing test automation using Python or Shell scripting.
Familiarity with IQ, AQ, encoder, EIS, and AI feature testing.
Strong English and Mandarin Chinese communication skills.
