Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Architect to define the long-term architecture and technical direction of its Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform across operating systems, platform services, device capabilities, security, manageability, application frameworks, and cloud-connected experiences. The role requires broad expertise spanning embedded systems, device operating systems, open-source platforms, distributed systems, Microsoft Azure, and cloud services, along with experience in device management, fleet-scale services, and hardware/software interfaces. The position is based in Romania and offers a typical base pay range of 263,600 to 434,000 lei per year.
