Description
Nearfield Instruments is hiring a senior software architect to own the architecture, design, and lifecycle management of a software system within its Design & Engineering Software Group. The role leads requirements analysis, high-level architecture, feature development, integration, troubleshooting, quality and reliability, risk resolution, and mentoring, while also taking ownership of cross-cutting concerns such as customer integrations, cybersecurity, computation, AI, and agile product delivery. The position requires a master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Physics, or Electronics, more than 10 years of software development experience, more than 7 years of software architecture and design experience, and more than 7 years in precision equipment or the semiconductor industry.
