The Senior Software Configuration Manager at 42dot designs and operates software configuration, build, release, and deployment systems. The role establishes branching and versioning strategies, manages release artifacts, builds and optimizes CI/CD pipelines, configures GitLab and Perforce, and develops automation tools using SCM APIs. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, at least four years of SCM, build, or release engineering experience, proficiency with SCM and CI/CD tools, and experience automating work with Python, Bash, or shell scripts. Preferred qualifications include automotive or ISO 26262/ASPICE experience, container infrastructure, monorepo management, and code-review process improvements.
