Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is hiring a Senior Software Developer for its Veterans Affairs (VA) work, focused on building and maintaining a cloud-based web dashboard that processes healthcare EDI transactions. The role involves designing RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, contributing to an Angular front end, collaborating with C#/.NET and AWS engineers, and supporting testing, deployment, and production monitoring in an Agile environment. The position is 100% U.S.-based remote, requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust, and calls for 8+ years of software development and API experience plus a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
