CIRA is hiring a Cyber-DNS Software Developer for a fixed-term role with a compensation range of $117,000 to $130,000. The position leads the design and development of XDR and DNS-based cybersecurity products and backend services, including secure software, CI/CD pipelines, cloud and hybrid deployments, incident response, and technical documentation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, at least seven years of software development experience, strong Java or Python skills, Linux and Bash proficiency, and knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, databases, and infrastructure tools. The position supports a blend of remote and in-office work from CIRA’s Ottawa headquarters.
