D-Wave is hiring a Senior Software Developer for its Processor Software team to develop and maintain software that interacts with quantum processors in production and laboratory environments. The role covers the full software lifecycle, including calibration, hardware interfaces, operational infrastructure, testing, monitoring, bug fixes, enhancements, architecture improvements, and on-call support for QPU solvers on the Leap cloud. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree, at least five years of software development experience, expertise in compiled, multithreaded software, hardware-software interfaces, Linux, Git, and complex scientific or engineering applications. The base salary is targeted at CAD 150,000–206,000 per year.
