Elastic is hiring a Senior Software Developer for its Elasticsearch team to build and improve shared platform infrastructure, APIs, automation, observability, and serverless and cloud delivery capabilities. The role focuses on large-scale Java development, performance and concurrency issues, CI/CD, cross-team project leadership, and end-to-end ownership of operational investigations. It requires strong core Java, algorithms and data structures, low-level Java, CI/CD, and large-scale project experience, with bonus qualifications in JDK internals, OpenTelemetry, Go, containers, Kubernetes, and Java build tools. Compensation is a base salary of CAD 128,300–203,000, with stock program eligibility and other benefits.
