Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is hiring a Senior Software Developer for its Veterans Affairs department in a 100% U.S.-based remote W-2 role. The position focuses on building, supporting, and migrating a cloud-based healthcare EDI web dashboard, designing and maintaining RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, contributing to an Angular front end, integrating with AWS-based services and internal data pipelines, and working closely with C#/.Net and AWS engineers in an Agile environment. The role requires 8+ years of software development and API experience, a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, U.S. citizenship, and eligibility for Public Trust clearance.
