Interactive Brokers Group is hiring a Senior Software Developer for its Trading team to build and maintain a high-performance Java-based trading application used for stocks, futures, options, and other financial instruments. The role focuses on the Java business layer and integration with backend services via REST, WebSockets, and FIX, while covering the full software development lifecycle, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration across product and engineering teams. Candidates need a Computer Science degree, 3 years of experience with a master's degree or 5 years with a bachelor's degree, strong Java and software design skills, knowledge of concurrency and low-latency programming, Git, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities. The position is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote.
