Toboggan Labs is hiring a Senior Software Developer specializing in data infrastructure and ETL to design and implement scalable data pipelines, warehouses, analytics platforms, backend services, databases, and visualization components for clients. The role also involves improving CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and automated testing tooling, and may include technical project management and mentoring. The position is remote-first, with office space in Montreal and hiring preference for Quebec, but candidates anywhere in Canada within the EST ±2 time zone are considered. The role requires at least five years of software development experience, including two years focused on data infrastructure, ETL, or analytics, along with experience using Python, SQL, TypeScript, dbt, Airflow, or similar tools on AWS.
