Description
Verily is hiring a Developer Platform Engineer to own the technical design and implementation of significant cloud-native developer infrastructure capabilities. The role involves building scalable, secure, AI-enabled platform features using technologies such as Kubernetes, VSCode, Backstage, Terraform, and GitHub Actions; guiding junior developers; and establishing code quality, monitoring, CI, and release practices. The position requires a relevant degree or equivalent software engineering experience, cloud and developer-platform experience, and strong system-design and debugging skills. It is a full-time Canada-based role with a base salary of CAD 146,500–164,500 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and does not offer employment-based visa or work-permit sponsorship.
