Description
Wealthsimple is hiring a Senior Front End Engineer for its trading and investing teams, including Order Execution and Options Trading. The role owns end-to-end frontend projects for high-stakes client-facing surfaces involving order entry, execution, real-time market data, options trading, and portfolio experiences across equities, options, and cryptocurrency. The engineer will make architectural decisions, collaborate with product and design teams, apply reliability and observability standards, use AI-centric workflows, and lead through code reviews, design reviews, documentation, pairing, and mentorship. The position requires at least five years of professional software engineering experience, strong React and TypeScript fundamentals, and ideally React Native; native mobile experience is a strong plus. The role is part of a hybrid team across North America.
