Wealthsimple is hiring a Machine Learning Platform Engineer to lead the technical direction of enterprise-grade LLM inference and infrastructure. The role combines traditional MLOps and model-serving expertise with GenAI workloads, including GPU orchestration, model routing, vLLM and Ray-based serving, automated evaluation, observability, and self-serve platform tooling. Candidates need at least seven years of software engineering experience in ML infrastructure, MLOps, ML tooling, or data platforms, along with strong Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and backend performance skills. The position is part of a hybrid team.
