Apple is hiring an experienced Software Engineer for its Search and Data Foundations team within the Apple Intelligence Platform. The role focuses on building high-performance, privacy-preserving, on-device data and search systems, including data pipelines, storage, retrieval, indexing, and search technologies. Responsibilities include writing reliable, performant, well-tested code for millions of devices and collaborating across teams. The position requires a computer science degree or equivalent experience, strong computer science fundamentals, compiled-language and multi-threaded application experience, and production software systems experience.
