MaintainX is hiring a Search Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate an end-to-end search and retrieval platform for work orders, assets, and procedures. The role covers indexing pipelines, ranking systems, query execution, relevance tuning, distributed-system reliability, integrations, semantic and vector retrieval, and AI-enhanced search. It requires hands-on production search-system experience with technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Lucene, or Solr, along with strong English communication skills and the ability to lead platform engineering managers and executive stakeholders.
