NextGen Federal Systems is hiring a Senior Software Developer in Aberdeen, Maryland to lead the design, development, testing, documentation, and integration of advanced software solutions for defense and mission-critical applications. The role covers application, tooling, web, and embedded Linux software, including work with classified and unclassified environments, DoD and open-architecture frameworks, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and software architecture. Candidates need an active DoD Secret Security Clearance, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3–5+ years of software development experience, and experience with Java, C/C++, C#, Android, Git, Docker, Linux, cloud and database architecture, and scripting languages.
