Description
AWS is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Release Engineering team within the Network Product Development organization. The role designs and operates large-scale distributed services that deploy operating-system versions across device fleets, collects and analyzes device telemetry, detects network anomalies with statistical and machine learning models, and builds CI/CD pipelines, test automation, observability, and infrastructure services. The engineer will own ambiguous systems end to end, set technical direction, review code, establish engineering practices, and mentor other engineers. The position requires at least five years of professional software development experience, programming experience, system design or architecture leadership, mentorship or technical leadership experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. The base salary ranges from $168,100 to $261,500 USD annually depending on location, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
