Amazon Robotics is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Vulcan Motion Behaviors team to build and operate software infrastructure for contact-rich robotic manipulation. The role focuses on controller interfaces, behavior configuration, runtime introspection, observability, debugging, replay and evaluation infrastructure, safe deployment, ML training and deployment pipelines, and production readiness. It requires 5+ years of professional software development experience, strong C++ and Python proficiency, production robotics or real-time systems experience, and leadership or mentoring experience. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $168,100 to $227,400 annually.
