Amazon is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Digital Content Platform team, specifically on the Digital Pricing and Promotions team. The role leads the architecture and development of high-scale web services and workflows supporting promotional capabilities across Kindle, Prime Video, and Music. Responsibilities include full-stack development with modern web technologies and Java on AWS, ownership of the Promos UI platform, architectural decision-making, integration with Retail promotion systems, operational monitoring and automation, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires at least seven years of professional software development experience, seven years of programming experience, five years of leading design or architecture, and experience mentoring, leading as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
