Amazon Leo is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) capabilities for satellite, ground equipment, and ASIC manufacturing. The role owns the technical vision and roadmap, defines engineering standards, partners with cross-functional teams, mentors engineers, and leads architecture reviews, production issue resolution, observability, deployment pipelines, disaster recovery, incident response, and secure manufacturing software systems. Candidates need at least five years of professional software development experience, programming experience, design or architecture leadership experience, and mentorship or engineering-team leadership experience. The position is based in Bellevue, Washington, with a base salary of $168,100 to $227,400 annually.
