Blue Origin is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and implement the foundational platform infrastructure for their TeraWave satellite communications network. The role involves building the operating nervous system for TeraWave satellites, user terminals, and gateways, focusing on embedded Linux and low-level platform infrastructure. Key responsibilities include designing core Linux platform infrastructure, developing and maintaining Linux kernel modules and device drivers, modifying kernel subsystems for improved performance, optimizing kernels for custom SoCs, debugging system-level performance issues, implementing secure boot and runtime security monitoring, and owning the complete software lifecycle.
