Zillow is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer on Public Cloud Foundations to build and own backend services and APIs that abstract public-cloud capabilities such as account provisioning, networking, IAM, and policy. The role turns recurring manual infrastructure work into self-service products, focuses on reliability, observability, and on-call ownership, and uses modern AI-assisted tooling. It requires at least six years of professional software engineering experience, distributed-systems and API design skills, production experience with Golang or Python, public-cloud and Terraform expertise, and CI/CD experience. The position is remote, with location-specific base pay ranging from $156,200 to $262,600 annually.
