AWS is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Hardware Engineering team to architect and scale an AI-powered design validation platform for next-generation server hardware. The role combines deterministic rule engines with multi-agent generative AI to validate schematics, PCB layouts, power sequencing, signal integrity, and cross-board I2C conflicts, while ingesting design packages, deriving test plans and risk flags, and integrating with manufacturing quality gates. The position requires at least five years of professional software development experience, five years of programming, five years of design or architecture leadership, and experience mentoring or leading engineering teams; a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred. The role is based in Cupertino, California, with a base salary of $193,300 to $261,500 annually.
