Amazon Web Services is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for its AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS) data plane group, focusing on storage and durability. The role involves developing and operating core EBS logic and components that enable high-performance, durable, secure, and reliable distributed storage at enormous scale, while collaborating with other AWS teams. The position requires extensive professional software development experience, C/C++ programming, leadership or mentorship experience, system design and architecture experience, and familiarity with coding-assistant LLMs.
