Tesco is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer III in Welwyn Garden City for a hybrid, full-time permanent role. The engineer will deliver medium- to large-scale software features, lead technical design and delivery, implement Java-based solutions, use Azure and Terraform, apply CI/CD and security practices, and support reliability, performance, documentation, and engineering collaboration. The role requires Java or another JVM language, cloud and infrastructure automation experience, database and monitoring knowledge, Agile experience, system design, project ownership, and strong English communication.
