Akamai is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test for its Cloud Platform Infrastructure Team. The role focuses on system quality, automation frameworks for microservice deployments, cloud projects, and distributed systems. Responsibilities include improving internal processes, building highly available and scalable systems, and demonstrating coding and test-automation excellence in Python and Golang. The position requires at least five years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, systems-programming and networking knowledge, and experience with functional and non-functional testing of containers, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
