Amazon Security is hiring a Software Development Engineer to lead the technical vision and architecture for scalable, mission-critical software security systems. The role focuses on automating parts of the pentest experience, building and evaluating security tools, translating security requirements into high-performance software, and partnering with security and other Amazon teams. Candidates need modern software development experience, object-oriented design, architecture and scaling expertise, and recent development experience; a bachelor's degree and full software development lifecycle experience are preferred.
