Remitly is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Post Submit Experience team to build and scale systems that keep customers informed and confident after sending a transfer. The role owns complex, cross-functional backend systems, writes and reviews production-quality code, solves ambiguous technical problems, mentors engineers, partners with product, data, and design teams, and improves observability, incident response, reliability, performance, and security. It is a hybrid position based in Seattle, Washington, requiring a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus at least eight years of professional software development experience, distributed-systems expertise, modern programming-language proficiency, and cloud-platform experience. The starting base salary is $180,000–$225,000, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
