ABB is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer – Power Electronics to develop embedded software and advanced control algorithms for power conversion, converter, and motor control applications. The role leads engineering analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, software architecture, troubleshooting, and technical documentation while collaborating across engineering disciplines. It is a hybrid position based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, and requires a relevant bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree plus 4–8 years of R&D software development experience, along with expertise in C/C++, embedded systems, control theory, power electronics, and industrial control hardware.
