The role focuses on designing and building long-running agent workflows, safety/quality/cost guardrails, and survivable checkpoint/resume behavior for production systems, while partnering with a Senior Staff engineer who owns the underlying platform. The position requires strong backend systems intuition, proficiency in TypeScript and Python, and recent experience with agentic systems or LLM tool-using applications; it is a senior individual contributor role on a distributed team across the US and Romania.
