Description
Amazon's Access Management Services organization is hiring a Senior Software Development Manager to lead the team building, owning, and operating attribute-based access control policy services. The role focuses on defining how authorization policies are expressed, evaluated, and enforced; shifting from manual policy configuration to intelligent defaults and automated guardrails; and operating Tier-1 services at Amazon scale. The manager will guide senior engineers and development managers on system design, incremental delivery, and operational excellence while partnering with engineering, operations, finance, security, product, and program management teams. The position requires 10+ years of engineering experience, 5+ years of engineering team management experience, and substantial consumer software development experience, with preferred experience in large-scale, high-traffic applications.
