project44 is hiring a Senior Software Engineer 2 – Backend to design, build, operate, and improve large-scale, real-time or near-real-time logistics integrations and supply-chain visibility systems in a multi-cloud Agile environment. The role requires strong Java programming and debugging, experience with Java microservices, SQL databases, Kafka or Kinesis stream processing, and shared ownership of software delivery, operations, testing, monitoring, automation, and on-call support. AWS and GCP are used, with Azure experience valued. The position is hybrid and requires working in-office three days per week.
