Description
Coinbase is hiring a senior/staff-level backend software engineer on its Access & Authorization team within the Platform group. The role designs, builds, and operates secure, distributed authentication and authorization services for web, mobile, API, and partner experiences, including OAuth, sessions, tokens, two-factor authentication, account recovery, and edge authorization. The engineer will use Go, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, Redis or DynamoDB, observability practices, and SLOs; lead complex cross-functional technical initiatives; mentor engineers; and participate in on-call operations. Coinbase operates as a remote-first, but not remote-only, company with quarterly in-person working sessions.
