Description
FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is hiring a Sr Software Engineer for Ad Tech & Distributed Systems focused on the Streaming Hub application. The role owns and supports data components, troubleshoots customer-facing inventory registration and targeting issues, builds automation and tooling, and improves reliability, performance, and operational efficiency across distributed systems. The position requires strong backend software engineering experience, coding in Scala, Python, and/or Go, cloud and infrastructure knowledge, SQL/database design, CI/CD, monitoring, Linux/networking fundamentals, and collaboration with engineering, client services, and vendors in a fast-paced global environment with on-call responsibilities.
